Food Security and Livelihoods

Chronic malnutrition is a major concern across Indonesia and its affect vulnerable groups, especially children and the most disadvantaged families in certain regions of Indonesia, such as West Timor. So, our program interventions started with understanding the context and problems through inclusive research process and methodology to be able to design an effective and sustainable program intervention that can reduce food insecurity while improving the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women by focusing on food security and nutrition, small scale agriculture, as well as water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).

A strong collaborative work with local government and the various stakeholders and the involvement of affected communities are the key priority of our interventions.
