Founded in August 2024, Yayasan Cita Wadah Swadaya builds upon the rich legacy and decades of experience of Church World Service (CWS), which has been present in Indonesia since the 1960s. YCWS represents a new locally registered legal entity continuing this legacy, powered by an experienced team and strong partnerships throughout the country.

Our experienced staff and dedicated board of executives ensure that YCWS continues to make a lasting impact, delivering programs with integrity, compassion, and excellence.

Our mission:

This mission is to address the needs of the most vulnerable people by focusing on core program areas such as Refugee Protection and Assistance, Disaster Preparedness and Response, and Climate Resilience. These programs aim to foster sustainable change and collaborate with communities to build resilience and self-sufficiency.
