Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation

We have experience in addressing severity of disaster impact and mitigating future risk towards local community’s livelihood. So, our program interventions for the affected community and stakeholders aim to build risk mitigation, preparedness, and to strengthen their resilience in addressing potential impacts of climate change.

We work closely with local governments, farmers groups and Women Savings and Loan Groups, universities, and local NGOs to ensure their participation in the program.

Our CCA strategies and process stipulate that supporting communities to build adaptive capacities has to be inclusive. Addressing challenges that communities experience in tackling CCA will reduce some climate change-related risks and disasters and, at the same time, build their resilience.
